Power of Attorney is an instrument created by a person who empowers someone to act on his behalf. The “Donor” appoints the Attorney and authorizes the Attorney’s duties and obligations while the person who is the recipient of the authority is the “Attorney”. The authority given by the Donor to the Attorney may be in respect of the business, personal or legal matters. The Donor gives this authority as he may be abroad for a period of time and is unable to keep coming back to Singapore.
